NYFW F/W19 has officially wrapped and we have done a round up of some of the hottest trends from the runway. Here are 11 trends from this season at NYFW FW19 as seen exhibited by 23 designers from Afffair, Indonesian Diversity, Oxford Fashion Studio, Fashion Hong Kong, and Harlienz X Ghada Al Buainain.

1. TONS OF TULLE

This tutu fabric is not only for princesses, check out these looks from the runway. Tulle is bringing the edge to the FW19 runways.

2. WORD PARTY

From logos to hashtags, nothing was left unsaid this season. #NYFW

3.VIBRANT COATS, JACKETS & CAPES

In NY we are typically used to seeing a sea of black coats in the winter. This season pop of color made their way into fabulous winter wear.

4. MASKS

Mask brought edge and elevated touches to NYFW this season

5. PUFFER EVERYTHING

This isn’t your 90s Diddy Puffer Jackets. Puffer scarfs, jeweled bombers, and skirts all made appearances on the catwalk.

6. POWER SUITS

Move over Hilary Clinton, these suits are powerful, but they are not your average boardroom attire adorn with prints, sheers, and super cool details.

7. SILVER & GOLD

Silver & Gold are the colors of the season. Are those even colors? We don’t care…they are everywhere!

8. THROW YOUR HOOD UP

Nope, and we aren’t talking about a sweatshirt hoodie. We love the added hoods that made their way into high fashion.

9. OFF THE SHOULDER OUTERWEAR

Time to give the cold shoulder with this trend.

10. MODEST FASHION

Modest Fashion is anything, but boring. Designers from overseas came to NY to show their beautiful collections and did not spare a hijab or head wrap in transport.
